If we would like to dig a little bit deeper within this topic, we all should concentrate on the mining machines. Why? It’s cause mining industry is filled with such spectacular things. One of those is Bagger 293 - intensely powerful machine, found in Germany and used within the coal mine. This monster is ninety six meters high and 225 meters tall and it needs five folks to operate it. What is extremely interesting, it is not a stationary machine - Bagger 293 can ride, but because of its dimension and weight the velocity is just 0,5 km/h.
Here we go with yet another - named Overburden Bridge F60, happens to be the world's largest machine which moves on its own. Here is the main part - it is 60 meters high, five hundred two meters long and 240 meters wide! Can anybody imagine such colossus? It may be just mind blowing, isn’t it? And as we noted earlier, it can move on its own - the speed is only 0,78 km/h, though. This specific machine is used as a conveyor in one of the German open-pit mines. And now something for individuals who like big vehicles.
Have you heard about Trex RH400? It is the world’s biggest movable excavators. Wonder how big it is - well, ten meters high and one thousand ton weight. Sounds heavy, right? It can move 85 tons of the exploration output at once.
